Hair Research Center Established in Paris


For hair treatments, women and men, in various countries, with different social backgrounds, cultures, and economies have different needs. For that reason, the cosmetics company with 27 international brand, founded the Global Hair Research Centre located in Paris Saint-Quen, on March 28, 2012.

According to Jean-Paul Agon, Chariman and CEO of L'Oréal Group, L'Oréal Hair Research Global Centre is an effort made to understand more about the hair care needs of consumers.

Throughout its history, the establishment of research centers of this hair is the biggest investment for the L'Oreal Group. Allocated funds amounting to 100 million Euro (about USD 1.2 trillion), the cosmetics company is building a global research center covering 25,000 meterpersegi hair that holds 500 employees from various fields. They are chemists, physico-chemical, material scientists, metrologies, rheological, computer experts, and statisticians.
